There's so much interesting and useful content out there on the web relating to Autodesk and our Digital Prototyping solutions; some by Autodesk'ers, some by our resellers & partners and quite a lot by users of the software. With so much content out there I wanted to bring as many of these useful sites together in one useful list, hence the creation of the Blog Roll & Links page.
I thought I'd take this a stage further though so you can easily find the best of whats on the web. So every Friday (or as close to every Friday as I can) I will add an FFS to the Autodesk MFG Blog - a Friday Featured Site. It will be a web site, blog, discussion forum, gallery, video channel or possibly even social network link that I think you might find useful and informative.
So here's the very first Autodesk MFG Friday Featured Site......
The CAD Setter Out
http://cadsetterout.com/
The CAD Setter Out has a number of really useful tips, tricks and articles all about Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD for joinery and setting out but offers a lot of really practical information for users of these products in any industry. There are over 200 posts full of how users can get the most out of the tools they are using as well as news about Autodesk.
The owner of The CAD Setter out is UK based Paul Munford and he updates the blog pretty regularly as well as doing his 'day job' working for a furniture manufacturer. Paul features articles from many other blogs in his posts which is testament to his passion for joinery, design and the tools he works with.
A well maintained, written & useful site!
Over the coming weeks and months I'll be adding more Autodesk MFG Friday Featured Sites so if you know of a site, or have a site that you think would be useful to designers, engineers and manufacturers using Autodesk technology drop me a line.
The CAD Setter Out is a non-Autodesk site and the content is created & collated by Paul Munford.
